Due to the large demand from being one of the best childcare centres in Newcastle, we have split the various age groups that attend into three different groups. These are called the Tiny Tots, Little Tykes and the Early Years. Each set has a space limit based on the age range attending, though this is to enable us to provide the dedicated care and attention that we are recognised for. In addition to this, each group will have their own playroom so that each child has access to activities and toys that are age appropriate.

This is because they are the primary educators for the children, as well as being the personalities that are responsible to encourage their learning development the most. By establishing a solid connection with the parents, we are able to transfer important information regarding the child’s day with us at nursery, where we can let them know about what activities they got involved with and if any issues have occurred. This applies the same with the carers, as we would like to be informed about any vital details regarding their time away from the nursery.
Every child within our care will be assigned their own ‘key person’ who will be responsible for overseeing their progress and development during their time with us. Part of the teacher's duties will include creating detailed records and ensuring that the children’s learning is remaining up-to-date and in relation to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. All of this data and recorded information can then be transferred to the next stage of their education once they leave our nursery so that they gain a better understanding of their progress made with us.
