‘’Would highly recommend Forest Hall Day Nursery, my son went here from 1years old till 4 years old, when I was looking for a nursery for my daughter I was more than happy to choose this nursery. All the staff are lovely, caring and so welcoming, we have regular updates with what the children get up to. My daughter loves going to nursery and talks about it when she is at home.
They have a great outdoor space, and local parks which they get to visit regular.

‘’Everyone here is super friendly from the first time you go to look around. We viewed here after many other family members’ kids had attended and so glad we took the recommendation. Our little boy has been here since he was 2.5yo up until getting ready to leave for school now at 4.5yo. The staff are a credit to the place and they really care about the kids! Nothing is too much and they take such good care of them I have no hesitation leaving him in their care. We’ll miss them when he leaves for school! If you’re considering sending your little one, which can be so daunting I know, I was so nervous handing my baby over to people!!!!, you can trust this setting and staff will do everything for them, in terms of physical, emotional and educational development! It really is 5 stars and a second home for our little one! Thank you for everything!’’

‘’We viewed a few nursery’s in the local area but this one was the one from the moment we entered the gate. Our daughter fit right in from the day she started, she’s happy every morning that she goes to nursery to see friends and the nursery staff. Her speech has developed and she always has so many things to tell me in the car on the way home about what she’s done that day. The nursery staff keep us informed of everything that’s happening. Have worked with us when toilet training and dropping naps. Our daughter also eats and try’s so many different foods (which she just refuses at home ).
Cannot fault the nursery at all. They go above and beyond for my daughter and she loves them all and most importantly has a lot of fun. ‘’ C Kelly July 2023

‘’It's my little ones last day today! She has been going to this Nursery since I returned to work when she was 9mth old and leaving today, nearly 5! In that time she has gained so much from the girls that have looked after her over the years and her confidence has just gone through the roof. ‘’This is a wonderful early years setting. Warm friendly staff. Close knit setting - both of our girls have gone to this nursery and the warm family feeling you get every time you send your child into nursery is comforting. Our girls have made firm friends here and have had strong bonds with their key workers in each of the 3 classes at the nursey. The staff make the most of each area of the space indoor and outdoors. ‘’I highly recommend this nursery, two of my children have attended, and have both consistently received a high standard of care. During their time there, their language, communication and interest in learning improved tenfold. With both outdoor and indoor activities during each session, (weather permitting) and a nutritious weekly food menu, which also encouraged my children to eat independently with cutlery, I wouldn’t hesitate to send future children there and/or recommend to friends and family’’ K Thompson

Children thrive in this friendly and caring nursery, where parents say they become part of 'one large family'. Children are happy and secure. For example, older children confidently recall past events with a member of staff. Babies demonstrate they are happy as they fall asleep in their key person's arms. Older children demonstrate a good awareness of how they can keep themselves safe.
Staff have a very good relationship with parents. Parents comment that they know what their children have been doing and how they can support them further. They appreciate the 'family atmosphere' of the nursery, where staff 'care for children as if they were their own'.
Babies are well supported and the atmosphere in the room is calm and tranquil. Staff think carefully about how they can help babies develop key skills, such as communication. They sing and talk to babies constantly, helping to develop their communication skills. Staff are vigilant and respond quickly when babies show signs that they are tired.
Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities well. They work with a range of professionals, such as health visitors or speech and language therapists, to understand how they can support children effectively. They act on the advice given. Staff use funding well to support children. An example of this is when staff buy children's favourite books to support them further. This supports children to make good progress
Children make very good progress in their communication skills. Staff adapt their language when talking to different children and have clear targets for what they want children to achieve. They use good questioning to encourage children to express their thoughts and ideas. This helps children to become confident communicators.
